Arsenal have got Vermaelen in a deal worth up to £10m
Don't know much about him, but he can't be any worse than what we've got.

That type of thing drives me mental
If you are going to be serious about challenging then don't buy Bellamy and Santa Cruz, save the near £40 million and buy a truely world class striker. Like Super Zlatan

Mark Hughes = dickhead. He is NOT the man to guide them to the Promise Land of the CL. Not a chance in hell. He has poor taste in players. The only signings which make any sense to me are Barry and Given. Robinho hasn't earnt his worth yet. Bridge, Bellamy, Cruz, Kompany, and Jo (did Hughes sign him?) just aren't top 4 material. Bridge was a bench warmer for Chelski. Bellamy has never been prolific. Cruz is a one season injury prone wonder. Kompany has yet to shine. And Jo got loaned out FFS.

Exactly, Given is top drawer and Barry is top 4 class but the rest are all decent without being able to light the heather on fire. You missed out that De Jong for £17 million btw

Shit yeah and him. I even went on the Man City website to see which players I recognised as being fairly new

Man City have spent nearly £80m on average tat haven't they?
Fair enough Robinho does have the talent, but just hasn't showed it. But Jó at £18m, De Jong at £17m, Bellamy, Bridge, Bellamy, Kompany and Zabaleta have done sweet fa

Man City can fuck off. Its clear all the fans think they're going to emulate United very quicky, it isn't going to happen! Its like Spurs signing Torres or whoever followed by average Premiership/European players.
The whole thing is actually quite laughabel, for all of City's apparant millions they can only attract mid table Premier League players and one big name who has so far surely realised he had made a very big career mistake.

The guy wants to play consistent first team football, and the way United have treated him this season with not starting in important games as much as the others has obviously shown him he isnt at the right club to do so.
Now City may not be the right choice, or it may be, but at least he will get first team football and they are heading in the right direction to be a CL club.

Amazed we offered the asking price and the big contract tbh.
No player can expect to play every week at United, tevez was quality, but was a workhorse and doesnt have the class Berb does. If we can get berb to stop being such a lazy cunt we won't miss tevez at all imo
But i agree, he was harshly treated this season

Not happy at all.
Ronaldo fair enough, wasn't bothered.
But the way they wouldn't say what they were going to do with signing him and playing that cunt Berbatov all the time, they've made a massive mistake.

Berbatov will improve more next season, and i think we'll replace Tevez much easier than ronaldo
Huntelaar, Aguero, Benzema, although i cant see us getting any of them tbh

Yes, Man Utd falling to bits. Next Rio will be going to City to join up with Bramble at the heart of their defence.

Yep thats quite interesting now. Two key players gone.
And you never know with a new signing...they may not settle or perform etc. Look at Berbatov for instance.

Disappointed to see Tevez leave But don't think going to city is going to be the right move for him. If he doesn't perform for them, then he'll just end up in the same/worse situation - sitting on the bench & they'll buy someone else

Berbatov must improve from last season, but with the right service he'll get more goals
Would like to see them sign Benzema & a winger (not sure on Valencia) & we'll be right!

Yeah, as long as they don't replace them you'll be in there.
