It's worth doing, we're now saving up for the paint job which is going to be four figures so any help with that is appreciated.

Yeah there is lots of prep to do on the outside, that'll need a few hands on deck.

Why does the paintjob have to cost 4 figures? Surely that's a bit excessive for a camper van?

Best quote we've had is over £2k and that was using new GRP sheeting which we're not so there will be repairs in those walls. There's also going to be lots of new bare alu on the skirts which will need more prep, some fabrication around the front arches and a change of colour on the cab. It's actually as sensible as we can be, that is plain white one colour all over. Silver or anything metallic or vaguely fancy was £4k+

If you know of anyone who will be cheaper then get it posted and we'll check that out.

Fair play, certainly more than just painting involved in that.

Yeah also very difficult to price. We've a guy coming out to price it when the skirts are on, best I have otherwise is what the horsebox place said theirs usually come out at.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

you should build a donations box into it somewhere, so people can chuck their unwanted money in it at shows

top effort so far, looks WOW!
