A photograph is the management of light over a light sensitive substance (film, paper etc) or device? (digital camera sensor)
I was thinking along the same lines as you with something I dont do everyday photographicly, so i did some portraits using my fladbed scanner, I like this one best -

I dont think it needs to be taken with a camera as its open to any sort of camera/any thing that takes an image...
will sort my entry out tonight although not really sure how it will work out.

I like how this really fits the theme, its not an exceptionally well taken image however it works and is interesting
1st - Doug
Great colours and pin sharp, really nice.
T'others:
Matt - Shot that i rarely see from you, composition really lets it down imo, really cluttered background. Interesting idea with the hand however I can't get over the rest of the image contents
Morpheus - I think a lot could be acheived just by playing with curves in ps/lr. Lacks the detail in the darks slightly too much. Also without any comments I couldn't really assume a connection to "Everyday".Maybe that you feed it everyday or it sleeps on your bed everyday, just as it is with no comments I couldnt stick it in the top 3
Adam - Your was most difficult to comment on so left till last, its a fantastic concept and great image and far more creative than the others, however I don't feel its a "good" photograph that fits the title of the weeks theme if that makes sense  What course are you doing out of interest
Anyway yeah, there is my comments, Doug get a new theme set

1st: Neo
Nice idea and nice lighting. Although a couple of the shots look a little over exposed and different images are different colours. Maybe that was the effect you were going for. Nice idea and well executed, maybe next time uniformity in all the captures
2nd: Cavey
I like the idea. The colours in the hand have gone a bit mental and the sieve has blurred a bit. But I like the background and blue lighting feel.

yeah, knew mike would win anyway
had to boost up the contrast and tint, hence sending the hand mental! And i couldn't hold the strainer still enough whilst pouring water with the other hand!

Agree Doug, I wanted to try and keep them very similar, but only had use of one hand so was shouting at the girls to position reflectors etc which went very wrong
