Earlier today when we were Jacking it up for the millionth time I was saying to dad let's just scrap this piece of s**t!!

My patience had officially run out on this engine, it's only because it was taking up drive space we kept going

Really smart!! Looks really clean! If im being honest the only thing i dont like is the bump strips, but apart from that looks awesome!

Where did you get your battery cover?

the plan orignally was to remove the strips, but in the end decided not too as it stops all the dents etc.. there's nothing worse that a big panel like the door and rear quarter with little parking dents in it!

the battery cover come from someone here if i remember correctly. not many about now.

went and trial fitted the dials today, think they look pretty cool. plan is to get the whole dash done next:




also got a couple of arches painted up as someones door opened on them when i was on holiday and chipped them:

got back from holiday on tuesday and started fitting the replacement arches i got sprayed. only one pic I'm afraid, sadly we haven't cut it aswell as last time, ill most likely get them done again at some point.



hopefully ill get the other one done tomorrow.

in other news, took the car for its MOT today in which it passed

stunning looking bay

just a suggestion but i'd do away with the a/c pipe stuff coming from the exhaust manifold and maybe relocate the screen-wash bottle to the top. wished my 16xe was as tidy as this

oh and a 1l throttle cable hides better btw
