graphics on PC again better then on console, but its all swings and roundabouts as you sit only a couple of feet from a PC, whereas you sit meters away usually from your TV so with the distances both end up looking pretty indentical anyway.
Get what you pay for as well! Dannys system is costing about £800 to run it at full chat yeah? I don't know that much about PC specs but if you built a brand new PC for the cost of an Xbox 360 (£150 are they?) would it even run any decent games these days? (i know you cant go on corsasport and youporn or do hdr photos on a console but I still think its an interesting comparison)
Graphics aside I don't think the playing experience is all that different PC to Console any more.

The thing with pc vs console, you could run games on low-medium graphic settings and they still look better then what the console offers.
Consoles online are terrible compared to pc also, but they are getting better all the time.
You can get a decent quad core pc if you can build it yourself for under £250! Amd and Ati are great value, obviously you cannot compete with xbox prices.
Game looks great, graphics amazing, online will be great but better on pc, just how it is for now.
This are Red Faction Armageddon are the only games I've really wanted to play in a long time
Steve's never heard of wireless mouse and keyboard !
I don't want to sit miles away, I'm a geek, I want my headphones on and emerce myself in the game and enjoy it without distractions around me

That's what I love, I'll be sitting 20 inches away from a 26 inch screen with headphones on, you get so lost in it that you forget you're looking at a screen this PC I'm building will last me 5-6 years before I need to upgrade for anything though.

you missed my point about distances, both viewed from 2 feet a PC will look better, but 3 meters away on a console will look pretty much on par with a pc sat 2 foot away

plus the biggest pc screen you are going to be getting realisticly is 26 inches or so, which is still quite small to be considering sitting any kind of distance from

You get to see far more being close up too, I could maybe see a sniper moving half a mile away where you couldn't, as you are sat 6 feet away from the screen...if you get what I mean. The picture will be amazing running at full res aswell.
I tried to play COD4 on a mates PS3 once, managed about 2 minutes it's so weird when you're used to a PC. Everything seemed slow with a pad.

Oh I see, or not as me be the case if I'm 3 meters away !
I played my ps3 from around the same distance which is about 1 meter away from the screen, always enjoyed to lose my self in the game and really focus on it, I guess it depends on the player.
I've had people watch me play from my doorway, mates of my sister etc and they said it looked a lot a better then how it looked on their console, door is about 3 meters away to.
But well, sorry I missed the original point you made

quote: Yes ladies and gents you've read that correctly, there will be a playable demo available. EA studios is going to be at the Eurogamer Expo with action ready to give players a hands on look in to the highly anticipated Battlefield 3. BF3 has been in the works for some time as we all know. Rumors started back in 2007-2008 and even when Bad Company 2 was just hitting the shelves DICE and EA were shedding more light on this upcoming game with comments like, "this game will absolutely blow everyone away."
It is said that this is going to be Eurogamer's biggest Expo yet. You will also be able to see exclusive how things are made and details by checking out the Developer Session line-up closer to the Expo.
So if you would like to get a hands on, get your ticket by going to the link below:

I'm almost tempted to get an Xbox just so I can play this with Ojc, Steve and 3CM. But I don't want an Xbox. You 3 could just buy a PS3 if the PSN is fixed by then?
