Gav it WILL be painted white possibly changing wheels to sunflowers as well. Hardtop and new roof on the cards.

Not having a convertible when you have been for a trip away and have the week off in 30o heat is majorly unfair. Hoping the part will be turning up soon. Was only one in stock in sausage land. D

Black is impossible to keep clean, hides the lines and looks dull. Plus it is more expensive than white to paint it that colour.

Any other suggestions as to colour difference will be considered.

I like Laguna seca blue

I think it looks to square/old to pull of white. Suits the E46!

i think it will only suit white if you have some posh bling on it, otherwise it will look like an old white BMW from when white wasn't trendy

It will look great. Mark my words.

As mentioned though, suggest a solid colour for it to be painted in

Jambo does it have to be a solid colour you cheap barstad?

I was just looking at BMW individual colours so you can kind of go with an OEM+ rather then some random colour from Ford

Good thread for individual M3 colours :

I don't want to paint it black. Its dull and there are 1000+s of them in black. Plus being a black roof and black interior its just too much. So as soon as it gets dirty all the different shades of black clash and all look shite. A light outer colour will be more suited to a convertible, show off the (square) lines (i like them) Individual colours are ok, but none take my fancy tbh. Velvet blue maybe, but meh not with a black interior.

Here is awesome:
