And yeah its horrendous unfortunately . Took ages to dry the footwell out , the underlay for the carpet was sodden . Dont even think its re-useable tbh .

see if you could move the electric window switch to one of the holes by the interior door handle opener and run wires from the back through the hole etc. if you could get as plain looking door as possible i reckon it wouldnt look that bad at all. i had mine for years until i got the carbon cards, it never really bothered me much other people made loads of comments though.

I done this yesterday nic , routed them both to the holes underneath the handle but no matter how tight I pulled the wires once they were in place they kept getting caught in the window mechanism . Was trying for about 25 minutes and then lost motivation

Right so ive decided that the interior parts in the front and the carpet will be going back down once the water leak issue is sorted .
Another thing to do before trax is scrape up the sound deadning in the back . Key it all up and hopefully get it painted by "sam-6" at Prestige were i get everything done . Will be painted in 20R black saphire and lacquered so it doesnt go dull like it has now
Other bits that need doing before trax:
Make some fogless grilles for the airdam
Some bits re-flocked
Probably more but ive forgot
Going to start scraping sound deadning up tomorow

Impatient you lot arent you .
Scraped the sound deadning up in the back today , was pretty easy tbh , dont see why some people find it difficult .
How the back of the car looked this morning before i started !
Firstly took the strut brace off and undone the harnesses
These were my tools of choice , then i got stuck in
About 30 minutes later
Ball of black sticky stuff !
Then popped over to Halfrauds and bought something to remove the tarry sticky residue that was left !
And after about an hour of spraying it on , leaving to dwell for a few seconds and rubbing it off with rags
With that done i thought i would start re-routing the wires in the back , no before photos but you get the jist of things
The other side needs abit more time spent on it though , some of the wires need cutting so i can feed them behind so my freind is coming over in the week to cut , solder and heat shrink the necersarry wires
Overall
Now ive decided that the carpets going back in i thought now would be a good time to give it a good clean up
Before
After
Looks abit tidier . Ill update in the week once ive done more wire tucking .

Did you say your going to have it all sprayed up buy the pro himself? Will look lush and make it alot cleaner looking.

Thanks dan . Was easy peasy so get on it . Surprising how much louder it is inside .
Yeah sam will be spraying it one saturday before trax mate . Wil be sprayed 20r black saphire (same colour as the car) . I done it in gloss black and looked poo imo . Hopefully should look really shiny when its done
