Is pistonheads full of this monthly payment talk as well, or is anyone actually into cars anymore?
Life is all about figures these days mate. Get with it or be left behind.
Bet you still have a black and white telly and listen to music on a radio made from bakelite.

£343 per month for Estoril blue with the auto box and heated seats. Sat nav is standard. £362 with all of that plus the service pack and some seal and protect shite. £2000 deposit.
Nav isnt standard until a post Oct build car; on which the list price goes up £500! Its a £595 optional extra.
It's standard on the new vehicle quotation I have here. Option 606.

I couldn't spend £450 a month on something you are just going to hand back. £300 would be my limit. If it was finance then that's different

Just been down to BMW and placed an order for a M135i. Dealer had a white 5 door in showroom, £38k list price. Had it on PCP deal, £9k discount. Possibly collect on sat, waiting on bm performance exhaust first. Decent spec as already built, pro nav, heated seats, adaptive suspension, privacy glass, driver package.

Sounds decent Mike. What's the difference between PCP and lease?

PCP is a finance arrangement, pay monthly with ballon payment optional at the end and I have a GFV of £15k. So if car is worth £18, I'm £3k well in to go again etc.
Lease is effectively renting the car as you don't own it.

If you buy on 0% finance, the interest should be zero, surely?
Your dealer should have given you paperwork to show you the figures, including the final cost of the car if/when paid up.

I think Steve is referring to continue on a finance package instead of paying the Final Value Fee or trading it in for a new one...

No but I still want the auto, Estoril blue and red leather. Can't make my mind up if the red leather will look odd. Other option is black leather.
