i really liked the banded wheels to start with,
the squares look incredible i really like them.
just an idea. i presume the squares are self-adhesive.
because you spent so long sticking them all on evenly,
if you really like the idea, try using the stickers as masking areas and spray paint over the top, before peeling them away
