As for your mates corsa, looks so much better with the 90mm on, i often wonder if mine was lowered more then 90mm cos this is how mine sat with 90mm on with the same wheels
compared to
Ps, i want another corsa again

Hi John,
Yes I am having Perpex windows and a Fibreglass bootlid.
My friends Silver Corsa (Paul) has modelled his car on yours, and was a bit gutted when the 90's didn't make it as low as yours Im sure it might settle a bit more but yours seems a fair bit lower.
Sorry totally forgot to ask what the colour of the wheels are I will do so when I see the guy how had them done later this week.
Cheers for your comments
Neil
Correct, as neil said I started mine with the idea from Johns with the cav wheels and 90mm drop. Looks very smart!!
Will be adding a few ideas to make it my own too

Those brackets i got off ebay mate.
They were the same price as the Chris Astley one but only £2.50 postage.
If I rememeber Chris Astley we asking for about £8 on there site which in my opinion is far to much!
The brackets themselves are exactly the same by the looks of it too.

To regaurds this comment....
'As for your mates corsa, looks so much better with the 90mm on, i often wonder if mine was lowered more then 90mm cos this is how mine sat with 90mm on with the same wheels'
Its due to the fact your a running what looks to be lower profile tires.

I thought this looking at the pics but my mate is running 195 45 15's and im pretty sure you can't get a lower profile than that... I think its just the shape of the side wall that makes it look lower

Oh, and another thing. The profile has nothing to do with the distance between the wheel edge and arch.... and its clearly closer in the pic, so its defo sitting lower

exactly neil thats what i was just thinking, wether your running 195/50/15's or 195/45/15s is irreletive , yes the car itself will have a higher road clearance at the back but it will make no different to have close the lowest point of the arch trim sits to the start of the alloy! Just more tyre would sit underneath

UPDATE:
23rd March
General update on lots of the cars you've seen before.
Firstly I had Powerflex bushes fitted to the front Wishbone and ARB of my Fabia
And Cupra Console bushes fitted to the rear of the wishbone
I've changed the oil and fitted a Magnetic sump plug.... how exciting. lol
And fitted the 17's
The van is now road legal, insured MOT'd and Tax'd.... woo hoo... More pics and vids of this soon....
Today we have been fitting the freshly powder coated rollcage to my mates 106 Rallye
And you might remember a while back a mate of mine has an old fiesta which he was planning to put a Focus RS engine into.... well its finally been to puma speed and has had it fitted.
Now this should be a fun sleeper
New RS Shifter
Custom driveshafts on the passenger floor...lol
As you can see there's plenty still to do with the above car, so watch this space

That Fiesta is going to be mental Mate.
The faded red paint and those truely terrible lexus lights set this sleeper off a treat!

At present it consists of
But a few months ago I started fitting Amps into the spare wheel well and got myself a W6 sub
Anyway the time had come to bite the bullet and strip the interior to lay down the necessary cabling....
Being Audi/VW build quality it came apart great
And one working screen
Will continue where I left off tomorrow
