went to crail today. some pics and some clips. excuse the wind noise. it was extremely windy up there.

early and that

rock n roll and that

breakfast stop and that

how to switch the tv off in mcdonalds, change the channel, turn the volume up, put subtitles on and piss people off that were watching it and that

v6 24 cosworth transit van, and that

get out my car you annoying little inbred youth, and that

thats cool, and that

racing ag motorsport focus 4x4 cosworth (not carbon fibre shelled one) from outside

from inside, and that.

some others. scooby killers are still us, and that.

had few issues with car. heat soaked to hell. struggled to grip. wind and cold air meant tarmac didnt warm up for proper grip etc. did a 12.1 @ 129.3mph. been told thats either a crail fwd record, or equals it and that. head wind didnt help with the times. thats my awesome excuse and that.

things to do....

sort rear suspension out. it squats far too much. poly bush front end (you read that right) in gear boost needs set up on emerald and erm, maybe solid engine mounts. other than that, had a great day. 3 cans of relentless. 25mph average in the vectra towing the corsa for 340 miles 4 up. winner really.

AND THAT

well i think to make it quicker, we need to move away from the set up on the car that makes it a daily driver, which will be a shame.

its not really all that clever struggling for grip in 4th. need to assess the situation, and see what we can sort out.

it was well windy. fairly cold aswell. actually felt let down byt the fords with it being a ford mag day. far too many std focus st's, and fiesta st's. i actually got sick of the site of them. wasnt a bad day though.

Aye at the same time, most the Ford boys i know around here still have there cars off the road for the winter. Majority tax them from April. So most the good stuff would probably still be locked away.

no, tyres dont touc the springs at all. theyre the std springs. not proper poundage ones for a 2.0. nothing fancy. it has adjustable top mounts and thats it really. it still has std suspension bushes shock horror.

they came from ebay ages ago. basically set so that the camber is correct due to it being lowered as i was scrubbing inside edge really badly when first got the car.
