Emirates Cup this year, July 31st vs. New York Red Bulls, the return of Henry and I'm ona stag do in Newquay
SO Im trainign it back from Newquay at 9am on the sunday mornign to get back in time for the match after 2 days of solid staggery. LoveshisgunnersLAD
wtf is the point of the emirates cup?
gets other teams around (last year we had AC Milan, Lyon and Celtic), is a good pre-season workout, gives everyone a chance to attend an Arsenal match for £25 and generates some additional match day revenue for the club. obviously
Wasn't baiting or slating, Just generally didnt know what the fuck it was lol
Thats because you have no knowledge

It's a compelte rip off of the Amsterdam tournament that we used to attend most years (Liverpool went one year and probs Man Utd at some point, we always seemed to be over there) and attendance has been about 90% the last few years so brings in some good moolah. we'll need it now that we wont be going on a foreign tour due to having to pre-qual for the CL

I think 5th is still likely for us, even though Arry has changed his tune about wanting EL, they have to play Brum who NEED something out of the game, even a draw.
I hope Meireles is back for the villa game, drop Carroll down to the bench as he doesn't look fit and we need to play with a formation that we know works to get the final points on the board.
Oh and BTW Webb is a c*nt
