PS4 virtual reality headset is real.
No release date and no price yet.
Specs:
Component: Processor unit, head-mounted unit
Display Method: LCD
Panel Size: 5 inches
Panel Resolution: 1920×RGB×1080 (960×RGB×1080 per eye)
Field of View: 90 degrees
Sensors: Accelerometer, Gyroscope
Connection interface: HDMI + USB
Function: 3D audio, Social Screen
3D audio? So surround sound?
Slightly surprised and annoyed it has built in audio. Would make more sense to exclude that to keep prices down. Everyone already has a favourite headset/audio setup anyway.
Unless price ends up being insane like their previous HMD, then I'll definitely want one.

Are you sure? Anything I can find about the Rift says it has a 90 degree fov as well?

I'm just going on what he told me. He may have it wrong though it certainly looked like the fov was impossible to find its edge in my peripheral vision. If they're both 90 degrees this will look fantastic and very weird sensation.
I did a roller coaster one and I literally couldn't stand up

InFamous bundle is probably the best deal at the moment.

Don't bother with the camera, it doesn't do anything yet, unfortunately.
Second controller is a must, battery doesn't last as long as on PS3.

Yeah, seems like they need charging all the time.
Next update will include an option to dim the light bar. Don't know if that'll be enough to actually make an impact on battery life, though.
