You can't legislate the shit teams into doing well. Regardless of monetary input and budget, Merced ideas have (largely) been waay ahead of the pack. If they open it up then they might get even further ahead and if they do GOOD!! (Say that as a Ferrari bumboy) because it's competitive and the best will win, if they don't cheat and innovate then I don't see the issue. This engine change bollocks doesn't prevent one team dominating, it's fucked the back runners because they can't do anything to get out of the quagmire. As Rick says its shambolic for F1 that Renault can't actually compete and Honda are so epically failing the 2014 FI with a new paint job has bummed them.

Roll on less restriction, more dev time = creative teams etc...

Next year will largely be a repeat of this year but with Bottas wearing red overalls ( )

Did we ever find out what caused the damage to Kvyat's car at the start of the race? Didn't seem connected to the Raikkonen/Alonso crash.

I fully expect Rosberg to give Hamilton a real run for his money tomorrow. Should be a good race as long as Hamilton gets a good start lol. Such a great track.
