This needs re-quoting. It was that bad.
Watching the original to restore my faith and remove that pile of horse manure from my mind.

Fury - 7/10
Pretty good war film that didn't depict the Americans as the champions of the world for a change and Brad Pitt toned down his Brad Pitt impression. Made me think about the horror of WWII as well which some films fail to do.

Big Game - 5/10, worth a watch but just felt quite lacking, i think it could of been much better had it been more serious
Barely Lethal - 4/10, fell asleep through it.
San Andreas - 6/10, deffinatly worth a watch if you like disaster movies, some decent effects going on too.

Same score I gave it, it felt like an 80s horror film to me, think it was a lot down to the music

The Guest : 8/10
Different, mild teen horror flick meets thriller come weird tongue in cheek violence flick. Kind of like a teen version of Drive and it too had a wicked sound track. Bird in it was super duper fit.
Loved it.

Music was really weird.... still dont know what to make of the film. I had read that the film was based on dreams the producers would have! Now's that some fooked up dreams

"Have you ever seen a fire in zero gravity?
It's beautiful. It's like liquid it... slides all over everything. Comes up in waves. And they just kept hitting him, wave after wave. He was screaming for me to save him."

I agree, such a let down when I finally saw it after it being such an infamous 80's horror.

If it was 87 it was probably brilliant. First time I watched it tonight. It's not 87.

Mad Max Fury Road - 2/10 - A lot of CGI, vehicles flying through the air and things exploding and/or burning. But there isn't much in the way of a storyline and not a huge amount really happens.
No idea how this manages to get 98% on Rotten Tomatoes though; the original was a vastly better

Thought they used next to no CGI in the new Mad Max? Swear I read that somewhere or heard it in an interview.

Yeah, there most of the car crashes etc are real stunts.
The wheel flying towards the screen is clearly CGI!

I've seen 3 of the sequels and they are even worse. I think one was 1993 and it was so bad. Set in a night club or somewhere.
