Fight scenes are good and I like dystopia films but the 1984 rip off is shameless.

But at least it's creative and not just a mindless reboot? I agree it's not an original idea, but it was certainly unique in its look and feel, perhaps a bit dated but it was very very good. All IMO of course.

Furious 7 - 6/10 - Same shit just a slightly different smell. I think previous ones were a lot better, not just from storyline point of view but also effects and stunts (they looked pretty ropey in places).
Hopefully that's the end of the franchise
Insurgent - 2/10 - The first (Divergent) was bad anyway but they removed majority of the characters here which massively thinned out any form of storyline which essentially revolved around two characters for the entire two hours. Plus it's about thirty minutes too long.

Ant man - shit. 3/10
Although the it's obviously fantasy, I like to feel it's at least a tiny bit plausible, and connected to characters. This was shit

Gone Girl - 6/10
Boring, not particularly believable. Affleck his usual wooden self. I actually wanted to like it as I'm a big fan of David Fincher. It wasn't all Ficher's fault, it looked like one of his films, again something I am a fan of but the story wasn't particularly convincing and the hate for Afleck's character even after 2 days was a bit far fetched. It wasn't even like his wife had been butchered and he was the prime suspect.
Second act -
Film got a bit more interesting and sinister.
But if you really decided you wanted out of a relationship and wanted revenge would you really go to all this effort? Which brings me back to was the film believable? amy's portrayal as a psychopath also didn't convince me, I'm not shrink buy I have seen countless films and documentaries on the subject which detail tell tale signs and there were no clues in this film. Intentional or not I think it should have been there to give the viewer some doubt about her.
On another note, very Twin Peaks.

Mission Impossible:Rogue Nation 7/10
Great action sequences, felt a bit like a recent James Bond rip off in places

No Country for Old Men - 8.5/10
Not the first time I've watched it, but equally as good. Javier Bardem is quality, and I'm a big fan of Josh Brolin.

Glad you agree with me about Gone Girl being a bit shit. Ending was so wank. No twist - just got back together again. Ok then.
