Call it what you will, Joff discovered something and told us. This helps.
Trottys account was not compromised - ie. Joff did not log in as Trotty. His password was not revealed, in fact it was only due to a unique set of circumstances that Joff was able to do certain things, and he would not have had choice of which account to target or which actions to carry out.
Despite very special conditions needing to be in place and regardless of the extent to which the vulnerability affects the community as a whole, we are going to fix it.
Joff is not only interested enough is his field to be aware of what is required to do this but he's also decent enough to tell us. That in my book is good for all.
