thats only 340x255 resolution mate - for the e700...
if you got a 640x480 (max res pic from a 7650 or 6600) and shrunk it to 320x240 it'd be very clear.

Hmmm, according to the camera when i took it, it was 640*480 :S
Must be the T-mobile website... the pic is clear, the quality is V.good on it, so got no probs with that.
Same as 7650 / 6600 in theory if it's the same Res. Also the night vision on e700 is V.good, better than my mates 6600, but they're all good phones i guess

just to explain what I said above... its the same as my shite digi cam atm - only does
352x288
looks quite pixelated.
shrink the pic to half the size + it looks much clearer.
Basically because the amount of pixels in the picture for the size is increased. (the ratio of pixels per cm)
thus if when u get the pic you made it same size as your e700, it'd be as clear though possibly clearer than your pic.

nice - yeh, I considered getting a decent digi cam - but A) I'd probably barely use it and B) I'd prefere a cam on my phone, as I have my phone with me all the time, so unless I was thinking 'I definately need to take a pic' then I wouldn't have the digi cam with me.
Only prob with camera phones is am I right in thinking they are shite in the dark (i.e. taking a pic at a cruise will be crap)

Yeah, like i say, the night vision on the e700 is very good, compared to the Sony T610 (apparently the best phone about) it's brilliant.
The night mode on th 6600 is pretty damn good too, not sure about the 7650 tho :S

What is night mode? it does say in the features that the 7650 does something in dark night shots, but just thought it was exposure time increase or something?
don't get me wrong mate - I think that pic off the e700 above looks pretty decent! not pixalated at all, was just stating that you could probably get most nokia's to look the same by shrinking. and if that pic was 640x480 it'd probably look the same.

yeah i know what you meant about the picture
The night mode is, basically (i think) a light enhancer, it's just that on some phones it's a lot better than others
The 6600 is probably a better phone, but it's bigger, and my mate's got it, so i gotta slag it off

there really aint alot in it size wise about an extra 2mm each side the 6600 is bigger.

e700 again, made me chuckle.
The 6600 wasn't out when i got mine, mate got it a week after, paid £130 for it or something, so it cost more, and has the added Video thing, which is why it's better

thats the great thing about nokia's is that they have free software upgrades available on their site - i.e. 7650 can record vids + play vids by downloading a 118kb upgrade.
But as nismo said, not really that much space only like 4mb. So you can only record 20 sec short vids with it with not brilliant quality. I'm sure the 6600 is even better.

yeah thats the cool part about them can get the infared adaptor and transfer files as much as you want , the video software will only record about 100Kb of streaming video which is 10 secs in daylight and 15secs in artificial light.
