at the end of the day i know what my car is capable of i have proof so i dont give a monkeys on anyone elses opinions. you have never been in driven or even seen my car so how you can say otherwise i dont know.

its mostly down to driver. on paper it may be a bit slower than it should but on the road its a different story.

at the end of the day they have almost the same power, a lot less torque, they arent even 16v so dont rev high. at the end of the day its down to the driver, ive had my corsa 4 years now so i would class myself as a good ddriver of my car.

The engine produces crap power for a 1.6... and its the top of the fiesta mk5 class

exactly, honda manage to get 160 bhp from a 1.6 and ford struugle to get over 100, lol

It wasn't designed as a flat out hot hatch. Do you honestly believe Ford couldn't manage to get more than 100BHP out of the engine?
It may give away a few ponies to the corsa 1.6 but at least the words good, handling and fiesta can be used in the same sentence.

Same can be said then for the Corsa sport 1.6 16v...they are classed as warm hatches though thus the relativley low insurance group...

whats the torque for a 1.6 sport and ZS in comparison?

If its not an ST or an RS Ford do not class it as a hot hatch. Wait for the Fiesta ST or RS, then compare it to the mighty corsa GSi. Or better yet a 1.5TD.

Prefer to keep my cars standard as possible im afraid...dont beleive in wasting money on modding a car...its still worth relativley the same as a standard car...
