hello people, i am here to tell the story!

even though i did not want them pics on here!

basically its due to the 19's and the assesor said this as well!
i was doing 45 mph, when i hit a large pothole which the front left wheel went into, this in turn broke the track rod end of the wheel carier,
i ended up in a 540 spin hitting a tree with the rear 3/4 and the side going through a fence, i then ended up 30 feet into a field!
i was unconscious for a short while as the 6x9 or something in the rear 3/4 hit me in the head!
Luckily i was unhurt but i am deeply gutted as i had so many plans for that car.
The insurance company have written the car off and luckily i have made my money back. Shame is i have let scriv down as he has put so much work into that car.

I was not speeding and i have a pic of the track control arm where it has sheered off as well!

sorry people

nah its to true, when i worked in a body shop i was telling the customers this everyday ,

like brad said the corsa was never designed to have a 19" wheel put on it so thats there the problem lies.

If it was on a major/main road, did you get pics of the pot-hole, and send them to the local Council? Should be able to claim money back from them, I would have thought, if it's a major road...

Have you got the mechanic's report that says the track control arm was sheared off by the wheel hitting the pot-hole?

Wouldn't have thought they could argue with that...

Why have they taken all of the documents?

So the Insurance company decides what they will do with the car?

they have all the documents as its now there car, as they are paying out for it and the mods.
The assesor said straight away 19's on a corsa, then looked at the steering and said what hapened and he reckons that was it, said he saw a nova on 18's same thign happened, months of stress on them components and they have to give way at some point

Yeah i guess...what was it like to drive with those size wheels? do you power steering?

I know some1 that bought his car back for 400 and was compensated 4000 for his accident.
