traction is a major issue.... i get humped off the lights then pass most of them in 2nd and 3rd.... (other c20 corsa's/Nova's that is)
it beat a cammed up c20xe'd corsa B 3 times out of 3..... (supposed 180bhp)
beat a c20let corsaB 2 times out of 2 (eh craig )
only been beat by one c20xe'd nova that i have raced - it was a 2.1 on cams and a Punto GT whoes Driver was much better in the wet. I was a shite driver and spun in 1st 2nd etc
Yes but you'd hump me now

standard valver engine, what roughly is the 0-60 time. I know it all depends on traction, wheels size etc... but roughly?

Most Corsas on 15"s, ind kit+ zorst with the right start should do a 6.5 easy.
Bigger the wheels, more kit = more time.

0-100 is where all the action is, 100 up is motorway pish, my calibra would have wasted my corsa but i reckon the corsa would beat it to 100 ,, AS LONG AS IT WAS DRY

You may suspect
But in reality, they do make a difference by a few tenths of a second yes.

Maybe, but then thats your opinion.
Every manufacture in the world gives a 0-60 times. So its quite obviously not pointless at all.
No more pointless than 50-70mph in 5th.

Are you sure, my wheel size is 195/50/15, I would have thought a 195/45/16 would be the same rolling size??

Most measure 0-62 now (think thats same as 0-100kmh)
How would you prefer acceleration to be measured? I cant really think of any other way

Rolling Radius of the 165/65/14 (standard Sport tyre) and 195/45/15 was the same also.

no you were trying to suggest that because manufactures use 0-60 (0-62 as pointed out) that it can't be pointless. you then made a reference to 50-70mph because the GT has a particularly quick time here and try to make out it was pointless. however you faild to realise that 50-70 is quote in most data supplied by car manufactures. you made an ass of yourself yet again
