From memory it is completely different to the petrol mount.

I know of someone who is putting a 20xe in a diesel shell and has had to remove the mount altogether, weld up the holes and then bolt the mount to that.

Yeah, but the 20xe mount goes in the same location as the existing mount, its a different story with diesel shells.

i THINK, that pre and post facelift corsas have different bits where the rear seat clips down. Theres like a mushroom shaped thing or a long thin bit with notches in. If its the latter the rear legs on the cage dont have anything to bolt to unless u make a little bracket, if look at the right side rear leg theres no bolts yet Also its very tight fit if u have a sunroof. Mine was a bout 180 i think, but we bought 2 and the lad knocked 10% off

diesel drivers side mount sit higher up the leg than petrol corsas, and u will find that the Allternator belt hit/sits on the mount.
u have to cut it off and move forward.
also fuels abit of a arses as if abit of the wireing(fuel side).

Lee told me about this. I know u say u have an F15, but it sounds to me like u have an F13. Top speed for the Sport is 119mph. Top speed for the 1.4 is 112mph. Top speed on standard limiter on the F13 box is 117mph.

IF you flat out and hitting the limiter, it sounds like its an F13 and not an F15. Either that or your limiters set wrong. F15 box on teh 1.6 16v can do over 124mph (Tigra) so prob can top out a bit further. You wont be doing that speed in a standard ish engined corsa.
