This is on Tiscali 512 so not all tiscalis are bad???

After reading the message boards, i have found out that tiscali have a 150mb a day download limit, and i was definately not told this when i signed up! When people go over this limit, they are put on a different server for 4 days, and the speeds are usually sub modem speed!!! That explains why i have been having problems, and i am absolutely disguested that a company can get away with it!

fair enough a cap of 150GB a month that some have, but 150MB a day is fuck all! I just read through all their terms and conditions, and there is no mention of it. I am gonna ring up again now and see what they say.

more like 15Gb lots of ISP's have 1Gb download max a month, and then your onto a slower server to suffer.

call them , some ISP's you can login to your account from there homepage and it will tell you your DL ammount and whether they have capped you.

the other company i was looking at was nildram's 1mb connection, and that has 150GB a month download cap. Thats reasonable!
