no 6x9s but V-I-B-E Active sub
by the time u have spent money on 6x9s and stealth shelf it will have cost more than getting some components upfront.

exactly my point. spend ur money on components and get a decent job done. no point in wasting cash on 6x9s. as ive siad before 6x9s sound good if u dont have a sub but if u have a sub then it will never sound as good as a system that has a decent set of comps upfront. its such a simple thing to do cos u dont have to buy a stealth shelf. 15 mins a side tops!

right my advice is to get the SUB and front speakers. leave the 6x9's for now and see if you like it. i had my 6x9s put in before i had my sub thats why i have them. i shall disconnect them later and report back to see what the sound is like.

ye u are going to get front speakers anyway so try them without 6x9s first. then its upto u if u want to try 6x9s later.

if your gonna get some 6x9's m8 then i suggest you buy the infinity ones that were half price at chrimbo (no sure on the price now)
my m8 has some in some 6mm mdf but mine are in 18mm mdf and sound pretty smart.
they will do until i have the cash 4 a propper install anyway

6x9s with sub??
sub and change front speakers??
Just sub??
do them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 20 speakers up front, 40 in the back, 25 subs!!!!
HAHAHAHA
LEAVE THE 6x9s !!!!! LEAVE...dont even think about it mate
Get some comps up front, then get your sub and amp them all It will sound good, infact wicked aslong as you have decent gear a decent HU (otherwise, whats the point in having good stuff and feeding them shit quality sound )
THEN, if you want some sound in the back, get some coxials and wack them in the rear cards or shelf and run them off the HU or a amp, but turn them down and put a crossover on them (either via the amp or HU) to limit the bass.
6x9s are a poor mans sub and people who say they sound good with their sub are chatting bollox. Infact, im sure they dont know their arse from their elbow The only way to get 6x9s to sound good is to wack them in a sealed box and then crossover/eq them to cut all freqs below 100-200Hz But like i said, theres no point in getting them mate

i brought my infinity comps, 5000cs and they are pretty good for the price mate brought them from halfords (i know i know, but i wanted them badly) and they cost me £99, then i had to buy adaptors and cabling (no cables are supplied with infinity stuff). so it was like 120 in all
But you can get them off the net for like 80 quid delivered, infact maybe cheaper
And sub mate, VIBE!?!?! WTF save up your pennies and get something thats worth listening too VIBE are pants, there ok if your on a tight tight budget, or just want something to give abit of a kick, but the sound quality is very poor

No dont get that vibe thing. U can get packages with amps for cheaper than that and it willbe better.
as for the space issue, jsut screw the amp to ur backseat or to the sub box.
