Its tempting to remove the pic, but I think it will be more amusing to leave it there.
But how can the thing over on the left be a DV with no vacuum pipe?

The recirculating DV is here on an RS500, I have crossed out the evil pressure reg so I didn't make the same mistake twice.

It must be near the filter not in the picture.

Right, on the left hand side, where you can see the hosing starts that goes round into the intake manifold. You'll see some blue vacuum hosing leading down to it. IMO this is where the DV will be, just out of sight.

Your supposed to put DV's as close to the turbo as possible, and being as the turbo is about 6" away to the right (you can see the manifold and the flange on the manifold for the turbo), i'd say this is the location of the DV.

4 injectors, 4cylinders, 5th one must go in the inlet manifold somewhere

plumbing in a 5th injector into a 4cyl engine normally means fitting it so it injects into the throttle body or inlet manifold
