so if copper is ok with that - it will prove that u can drive an uninsured car on another cars insurance wont it?
well thats wot i was arguin with him about i said thats like everytime u get in a car thats not ures u have to ring ure ins to tell em the mods he said its in the small print that its only standard spec cars which i never knew
with ref to drivin a car with no ins yes u can as its ure ins but if its parked up and gets knicked or causes an accident its not
u cant drive an uninsured car on ur policy thou - the car u driving must be insured
well thats the law anyway, or else people would insure a metro 1.1 and drive a porsche on metro policey
but if u get off with just your insurance and not have to take owners - it makes a mockery of that
u CAN drive an unisured car - i did this ever day and got pulled twice and cops said its ok twice so long as i dont park it on a public road

drew its because while u are in the vehicle its ure insurance that covers it but it its parked its the person who owns the vehicle therefore if they dont have ins on it then it cant be parked in public
in theory wot he is sayin is u can drive from private land to private land and be ins on ure own ins third party only and thats about it

i get wot ya saying kerry
but dont belive it cause the law changed no so long ago
lad i bought my nova sport off - he owned a mini and a porshe 911 - drove 911 on mini insurance and he told me he had to insure the 911 as the law had changed and he couldnt drive it on the mini polocey no more
would have to insure car for road tax too

yeh obviously it has to be taxed so at the time u could get away with it then obviously only a short term thing...
they probably changed the law then when they realised the loop hole
stil dont get how if the car u are drivin is insured and u drive on ure policy third party only that the mods have to be declared and i bet not many people realise that either

nah - as if ur gunna go in and say - oh btw - the car had mods on it ya know
but still - if u only have to show YOUR insurace - basically corsa didnt have to have insurace - so in theory - you could buy....
2 cars - insure both
get both tax
cancel policy on expensive car
drive either on others policy
IN THEORY
