the 500 or so mile home in my stripped out corsa with c20xe and rock hard susp in bucketing rain was 'interesting'

R'ber PVD pete holding onto the rollcage and looking like a faggot when i got to my first round-a-bout on the wee test drive mehehehe

Tis good fun. Not super fast, but the XE suits the Corsa so well, its just so much fun

My speedo only goes to 130. Fads got an F16 though hasn't he?? Should only be good for 130 ish, but get up the speeds quicker than the F20.

i drove the astra GTE around for a week which was fun, but iv been told its quite different in a corsa. Had great fun on the motroway pissing off a ned in a badly modded nova, he was coming up behing to overtake so i put my foot down and pulled away before he even got closed to me.

(And did that about 4 times!)

Ive had 125 in 4th, would've gone onto 130 in 4th, so more in 5th. I reckon mine will do 140 with the F16

i had 130mph at 5500 revs, dunno how accurate this is though, was racing an a4 quattro at the time

Corb, an F16 does 124mph at the limiter.

It won't hit 140mph with an F16. I'd need a damn long bit of road to hit that speed. Even the Astra/Calibras could only do 134/137 respectivly using F20 box. Calibra may be heavier, but its a lot more areodynamic than the corsa.

I think u'd need cams, exhaust manifold and it mapped to get 140.

122.3mph on the dyno/ rolling road in my old XE... clocks said 125mph

Thats on an F20 gearbox i THINK, i'll let you know. F16 will be lower than that, 116-120. IF thats an F20. Will get back to you.
