Oh man, that is awful, gutted for you mate

Id be straight on the phone to the place you had the work done, tell them what happened dare i say it their work might have caused this ie it could have started a while back after you got it back and pushing it that far just caused the problem to come to the surface quicker?

Good luck mate, i hope you get somewhere with them. Id have thought the least they can do is look at it to establish the exact fault. I had a major fault with my Corsa C after having work done and the company were very good about it and rectified all the damage even though the fault wasnt apparent for 2 weeks after i got it back.

first things first..... find out if the block is damaged.... if not, it wont be too bad.

But if the block is damaged and caused the fire by extreme overheating its pretty bad in both ways.

Icy - i did that with dale in the car, and went round a corner..... i think he crapped his pants. Plus 160 is tame compared to off the clocks

the fire was down in by the Rotors and Housings so this is probally bad , as could have dameged the seals.
