Yeah Daimo, I could only afford the 15" wheels tho.

Nismo - Just cos your mates drive like grannies doesnt mean I wont kick your a**e.

Tell them they need to learn to shift quicker if they are being beaten by an RX7. On paper the stats are pretty similar. I have to admit, I would prefer an RX7 but the rebuild costs are crazy. Besides I can take my roof off!

RX8 has similar pase but the Rx7 is quicker I believe - more raw looking as well.

RX8 is v nice but a bit toned down IMO

Nismo, So how many rebuilds have you had since owning it? Do you do it yourself? Any more importantly how much have you spent on the rebuild (s)?

Standard Mr2 turbo v's Mazda Rx7 = Pretty level, depends on driver skill.

What BHP are you running? Ever had it dyno'd?

i have had no rebuilds , the car has had no rebuilds , i wouldnt do it myself if i had to, rebuild through a rotary specialist is £1700 for a standard rebuild,

280Bhp standard but with my mods should be up to 300 providing its not lost to much over the years ,

Havent had it dyno'd but when was last at rotary specialists he fixed my boost problems and said it was running much better and faster than one of his that was running 304bhp (dyno'd)

Thats pretty impressive mate.

I know theres the rx7 type R etc but is it just the later gen 3 that had 280 BHP? I thought some of them had less than that as standard? Might be wrong of course.
