im all for supporting ur country, i have a huge carling england flag, but i dont agree with these england flag simply coz theyre at jst the right height to scare the shit out of a horse when they go past, most of u may find this amusing but iv seen some serious accidents when horses have gone mental on a road, nearly been involved in a few myself

I am all for supporting England and being proud of this country. But apart from when we have 11 residents kicking a ball on some grass, when do the majority show their pride with flags etc?
TBH I hate all this football shite. Its just an excuse for casual racists to use football as a catalyst for hating other country's.

point number 1 has absolutely nothing to do with the world cup. dont lose sight of what the flags represent. its 11 people on the pitch. nothing else.
point number 2. correct. although uniting a nation over a certain national event is not a bad thing at all.
i imagine big brother is probably more of a talking point for you than the world cup.

People only do it to make a stand against minorities who start moaning that the flag is 'offensive' etc etc. If we didnt have all of this PC bollocks where immigrants and minorities dictate rules and laws then nobody would bother putting flags everywhere in the first place.
And how it can be classed as 'casual racism' is beyond me, we live in England ffs why should we be told by eastern europeans and brown skins that we cannot fly our own flag.

the media, aka the sun newspaper, are over hyping it all. like the did with christmas trees etc. media incite racism more than flying a flag does.
