beckham is not to blame at all, and lampard isnt a hero, the only thing he did in the game was score he didnt do anything else, we were unlucky and i am gutted but there is still 2 games to go.

He is to blame, penalties are scoring opportunites. They are called penalties as they are meant to penalise the opponents. He hardly did that did he?!?!

Nope, a penalty gives you a scoring opportunity, hence the reason for penalties in the 18yard box, as they are classed as a scoring opportunity.

i expected 2nd in the table anyway - so as u say - not all is bad
expected a draw at most from this game
2 more wins, and france win other 2, so on same points with them having better goal diff
but as it is - they will have more points, but same placing

France are favourites and they beat us, not really a shock. Its only hard to take as we played better.

They hammered us second half. We had backs to the wall all half, got one counter attack and got a penalty. If they had Henry and Trezeguet on scoring form today we wouldnt of stood a chance.
Full marks to our defence though, whole defence had a cracking game IMO.

Nope, Penalising them was giving Silvestre a yellow card, as he stopped a scoring opportunity, hence the penalty.

If Becks had scored we wouldve won. Playing badly and still beating the number 2 ranked counrty goes down well in my books.
