I have a 2 year old staffordshire bull terrier and he is nuts. My other half wanted a beagle or a staffordshire, where I wanted a cute fluffy dog. However, he had the final say so getting a staffordshire was the best thing we've ever done. He doesnt wreck the house, loves children and is well behaved, he is great.

Staffy's are lovely as puppies, they are soooooo cute. Montey (my doggy) has still got his puppy wringles were his head has not finished cracking. We paid £500 for him, but he's KC registered and comes from a generation of cruft winners, otherwise we would have paid £350. GET A STAFFY

Oh yes he's chipped and insured as apparently staffy's are stolen alot and used as fighting dogs. There are some evil, sicko's out there.

i would like a staff but dan thinks they're ugly.
i would love a german shepherd but we don't have enough room for one, wouldn't be fair on it, and our house would stink.
i want a rottie or a boxer

Rottweilers have that scary look about them. Even though I owned them I’m still wary of other peoples Rottweilers. Their Instincts tell them to guard what is theirs, but I believe they wouldn’t attack their owners. But like Corsalad said…it’s the way you bring them up.
