cleaned the engine up a little since max cos as everyone who was there knows it was a mess!

koni is painting a rocker cover with same paint as the car so that will be going on soon, ordered chrome manifold cover, header tank and new battery is on now and chrome battery cover on the way! also should be getting fan on soon for radiator, and need strut brace, waiting for etec to bring the chrome one out!

as for the rest fo the car, its in peices again, sorted all the lights now apart from the reversing light, got window washers to sort out, caliper to be changed tomorow if i get chance, then ajust the rear shoes for the handbreak to work! cant remember wot else i gotta do to get it ready for mot! rev counter and water temp gauges also working now!

JOFF - the final peice in the centre tailpipe is a small BORE if u look cloes in the pics so it evens out the fact that that the centre pipe is the closer route for the exhaust gasses to go so come out the other pipes equal!

does that make anymore sence?

the car didnt have the fuel tank in when i got it so did it when that was out, wot not make any difference tho fuel tank in or out i dont think! ascar were on about doing side exit letter boxes out the skirts, i thought the skirts wud probabilly crack when cutting the bodywork so didnt go for that idea

there welding was crap!
everyone i know's has been fine must just be yours

probably, i wasnt amused, if it wasnt for the fact i had gone home from uni for the summer i would have got them to fix it, as it happends i had to wled the bracket back on and weld a 4 inch strip up the side of the can where it had ripped. shite it you ask me. i wouldnt go there again.

You are not alone Kris - I went to Ascar and the sytem fell apart within 3 months. Shit welds, shit boxes - in fact just complete shit. Would never touch em again with a bargepole

so in the end we descided to cut centre of rear bumper out and have 3 carbon jap cans with tailpipe cut off and polished smooth! took abit of getting use to but i love it now! sounds really nice and still will deapen the note when its bedded in!

now the exhaust is summet else to look at on the car and notice instead of a normal exhaust!

as for ascars work its amazing u can kind of c in the pics but not really apricate the quality of there welds etc untill u c it in the flesh, i will never be going ANYWHERE else for an exhuast, good price also! wud HIGHLY recomend them to anyone and u wont be dissapointed!

here are pics, i dont think u guys will like it so thought wud put a poll up to c if u do or not! iaz

not thant good pics yet, car is in peices now again so cant drive it to get more pics

i love every bit about this car mate !
