adrian flux where usless with me, phoned them tnight and got quoted £2250 on a 1.2 8v with, wheels, suspension kit and induction kit decalred. anyone know which is the best on the list for people under 18. ive phoned , norwich, cis, allen and allen, performance insurance and flux and all have been over £2000.
i did however get quoted with directline who quoted me just over £1200, does anybody know what there like when declaring modifications at all?.

insurance quotes also go by your area my insurance is always more than ma mates form. i have tried putting in different addresses with the same details and it always seems to be cheaper than when i use my own address
and my car is garaged where theirs sits on the street

where i live isn;t exactly high risk though, i had a word with tesco the other night and they said they'd do it for £1730 with alloys, suspension and an induction kit declared, the lass on the phone was really retarded though she thought an induction kit was a bodykit

ok i am 18 have a 1.2 elegance corsa c modified with 17"s, lowered on eibach springs, full irmscher kit, and a K&N induction kit.
how much have you guys paid with similar mods? i have had quotes in the region of £2000 but this seems alot?
do you know any specialists companies i have phoned adrian flux, asda, tesco, allen and allen, performance direct, 1st quote and young driver direct and they either say no mods at 18 so cant do it or they can do but its £2000+
can anyone help me out cause im only doing for 1 yr and then im buying diddon's corsa sri 1.8 and i can get insurance for £1800 with brentacre with 150bhp limit and i cant find any good quotes for a 1.2 grr!
cheers

here is a thought for people.the main reason people dont get insured on their parents insurance is that you dont build up your no claims is that rite?coz if so then check out direct line coz they have changed there policy so every named driver on a car builds their own NCB.might be worth it for you drivers under 19 to start mithering your parents.

If you've delclared your bodykit with your insurance company & have an accident thats not your fault, will the other insurance company pay for your bodykit or just standard bumpers? Also what about the opposite, you have an accident that is your fault will your company pay out for your bodykit?

Ive seen that too but i reckon there has got to be some sort of stupid cant-get-away-from-it catch for them, after all, they are a bloodsucking insurance company....
