give it up mate. 6k is taking the piss. you may hafve spent shitloads on it, but i have spent shitloads on my gsi bout 4k so far still only worth bout 2k. but i didnt plan to sell it as soon as it was finished.
mods are for personal pleasure not for increasing value. besides cheekycorsa is miles better.
my advice mate is to keep it get your moneys worth of enjoyment on the mods and then sell it in a couple years, wont feel such a waste of money then

By advertising it at 6k he's actually doing the right thing.
If he gets an offer for the asking price then he's quids in - guess who will be laughing then!
If he doesn't get the asking price, but close offers, or even after a month nothing even close he can re-advertise at a lower price.
No biggie.
Better than advertising at 4k, getting an instant sale and then people ringing up after saying they'll pay up to 6k

A car is worth only as much as someone is prepared to pay for it. valuations don't count for anything - its getting a punter who wants to buy it first. The price is then in the hands of the buyer - if he believes its worth it he'll pay it.

if the car had its other wheels on, would you be asking for less? is it the konigs that have upped the price - damn right, sexy wheels! how about 4.5k?
