thats why i want a 20xe, as the 1.6 will take £££'s to make it grin worthy.
i don't think the handling issue and extra weight will really affect the driving

valver is the only option!
with the mantxel it will be worse, red corsa was peak between like 5k and 7.5k low range and mid was pants! needed a unichip to cure that!

thats the prob will smaller CC engines, a lot of the power will be at high rev's.

it used to wind me up soo much in the red corsa, ok the nineteens didnt help but even 1.0 fiestas used to beat me of the line then ud have them at 40 mph or so,
but with saxo vtr they wud be too far ahead to catch!
will sow how that engine performs in the new car!! he he

Mantzel & Unichip are on my January sales shopping list.
I don't want C20XE, the Nova is'nt strong enough for it, and I want this car to last longer than 2 years without having to re-shell it.
I doubt they will insure me on a C20XE anyway.

its not my car, its a mates hes just had all the bodywork done, he got the engine which was running 138 bhp for £600 and i fitted it, i cant beleive how cheap!!! rrr

mm scriv didnt tell me the torque figure,
cam, mantzel and unichip, mahle pisons, arps and ported and polished head ran 138 bhp
