obviously shows that there is a large number on people on here that cant appreciate man hours gone into this car rather than hours to fit a kit and neons.

Its spectacular, like any car thats had a full rebuild and restoration its worth the money to the right person.
Try and find a mk1 escort thats had that kind of work on it,
was just a rolling shell on ebay a few weeks back - £9k!!

cars like this are not something you can just buy or bolt together easily, not really a boy racer car, more of an enthusiasts motor.

i would love it but is over my budget at 10K

looks like a really nice nova though. as said before, it will be sold for what someone is prepared to pay for it, if not then split.

If he finds the right person he'll get the money, but it might take him a while, i think most people will appreciate the work and it definately gets people talking, but everyone knows you never get back anything like the money you put into these rebuilds, and 10k is an extreme amount of money

He will deffo get more splitting it I'm sure.

Take the engine out (would get a fair bit for that) and put a normal XE in and box. The car would still fetch a lot due to mintness, and he would get top doller for box/engine.

Its hardly a Nova though is it? I mean, apart from the shell what resembalence does it hold to a Nova Merit apart from the shell... I'd say its more of a race tuned car with a Nova shell now.. and thats what i'd be paying for... It may have started off as a shity merit but it has had £25K spent on it and will probably go down as one of the greatest ever Nova's of all time.... i could justify that to myself i reckon...(If i had the money)
