what he said, my car desperatly needs some attention but all the bodyshops around here have been less then helpfull with my pals or are just plain shit

Even Calder Coach Crafts have there horror stories, same with Ecosse, the list goes on

I think bodyshops, performance tuning places etc should face some tighter regulations...fuck knows what though

Sorry about your car bud, you must feel sick

obviously dont want to say to much on a public forum.
yes i now have the car in my possesion
everything we have done has been advised or discussed with our lawyer.

the car was taken to a bodyshop this morning to get a quote to put it right and they said it would be about £1k - £1.5K
to get it to an acceptibile standard. doubt it will ever be to the standard i had hoped now but live and learn. i am going to meet the guy on saturday morning to go over it all and see what can be done to rectify the problem

And me!

Ive recently have a bit of grief with a bodyshop not meeting deadlines and changing the cost of the work, started off at £1250 and ended up at £2,000! also estimated it would take 4 weeks but ended up being 3 months, the whole 3 months i was paying tax and insurance for a car i wasnt using, plus paying tax and insurance on a runabout car to get to work in! if i would have known how long it would take i would have canceled the insurance, at 1 point i wished i would have taken the pay-out offer from the insurance company. luckily it was a flawless job so i was happy! i lost quite a bit of money but sh#t happens mate!
sorry to hear your bad experience mate, im sure it will all get sorted in the end
