If you have a 1.2 8v engine 1,000,000 would probably be high milage, but it would still go for a few hundred thousand more miles. They are bloody indestructable.

There was a merc of some kind in spain that had a million miles on it, mercedes gave the guy a silly amount of money for it and stuck it in their museum.

M reg, 62k, had 58k when i got her back in April

Some of the trucks at work can have anything upto 400k on them, averaging between 300 and 600 miles of driving (where physically possible) per day

My grandads got a H reg Cavalier - 312k miles and still going. Never driven it over 40mph tho..........
