i have a 25 litre and a 50 litre compressor! one for mask and one for the gun! looking to upgrade to larger one tho

ford imperal blue is just a pearl so no harder then normal metalic really! just primer, base coat then laquer, few coats of each!!
i got paint from mail order place, really top people and always willing to give advice and help out, good pices also

you sprayed that with a 50 litre compressor !!!...dint you find the air was running out quite quickly ??
what spray guns are you using ?

the compressor was not running out of air, it was on and off all time! so na was not running out of air was keeping up fine, did last car using the 25litre gun and that came out just as well! didnt run out of air etc!
just using davibiss gti gun, and sri gun for smaller jobs

yeah u cant spray a decent job without a decent gun....my guns cost me bout £1500 nd ive made that already doin jobs for people
just make sure u keep em clean nd they'll last u forever !!

blimy.........makes my guns seem cheep!!!!! wot set up u got and compressors etc??? are u just doing jobs on side or are u in the trade?

nah i got...1 for laquer...1 for base..a suction fed for primer...another suction fed which has my etch primer in all the time...and a lil sri gun for little jobs.
mine are all devilbiss
i work at a bodyshop monday 2 friday...nd i do private jobs in my spare time...i got a 100ltr 2.5hp compressor.

I have heard you can get 2K paint that you don't need an air fed mask to use. Is this true?
I already have one comressor that I could use for an air fed mask and i'm planning on getting another one for spraying and running the air tools off... Just want to get stuff that I really need, rather than wasting money. I have been looking for books and other info on spraying but I haven't had much luck...

there are not many books about are there!!!! u can get 2k face masks i off ebay! think they are ok if u are not doing to much painting! if u wanna try use your compressor for the painting and then just get 2k face mask and c how u get on!

ah right that will be y u got betta stuff than me and are betta at it!!!! hehe
i am a chef...............and self tort myself painting go no one to learn it off so just messed about myself! place i get paint off now are dead helpful tho!!!

car has gone back tonigh took few pecs before it went but they not come out well cos it was half 11!!! so little dark, the lad seemed happy with it, car looks so different instead of white! stunning factory colour ford imperial also!
