Half those VeeDub people don't know what they are talking about. They seem to think that 'Euro Style' belongs to them, and can only be applied to VW's... Strange.

to be honest i didnt expect as good a response as i did, general opinion seems to be its not bad, but its still a corsa, which is fair enough!

Makes me laugh because just because of the 'chav style' Corsa's they think they are all like that. The problem with most VW owners is that they are in the clique, to them nothing is better than a VW and everything else is shite. They can't really appreciate other marques of cars, and to them 'chav style' VW's don't exist.
I wonder what they would make of this that resides in Bolton

To be honest, all forums are the same. They seem to get so tangled up in thier web of love for a particular car or marque. We're the same, think of peoples hatred towards Saxos, even though there are a lot of 106 owners on here.

However, I would say Corsasport is a tolerent board, considering as there are loads of people with a wide range of cars...

I agree, people on here dont slag off other marques of cars.I think people should appreciate the car for the work that has gone into it, etc. From what a friend told me that looks on VW boards, and he seem there is a bit of hostility towards others. It's like fi you don't own a Volkswagen you aren't welcome, whereas on other bords (like this) welcome people.
Icy - If you fancy a trip to see the Golf in person to really appreciate it, I'll have you a brew ready

I dont mean to be rude or nasty to you Martin but I do tend to agree with what the majority are saying on E38. What is it you saying to them? It looks and reads to me that you are expecting praise off a group of people that know how to do euro style and that see it day in day out.
Your car has got some nice touches but over all does not even come close to the euro style you trying to replicate, and more importantly are trying to seek praise from. I dont want to slag off your car but I think you are trying to copy a style rather than apply a style to your car.

also what does " you are trying to copy a style rather than apply a style to your car" I've never seen another Corsa C or a golf etc that looks like Martins car so I fail to see how he has copied any thing?????
now wither its a e38, corsasport or mig people will either like or dislike a car. I like Martins car but euro style golfs look pish.

too much single mindedness and stereotypical bollox. If your into cars you should be able to apprieciate a nice car nevermind all the bollox of vw and euro styling etc. imo. People like him need to get out more.

How can you say know how to do Euro stlye, anyone can do it its no particularly hard. Dont have to be a VW owner to 'know' how to do it. Personally i think it looks pretty euro, but whether it does or it doesnt it still looks fookin cool

main reason i have went for the way the car looks is i wanted something different to the usual combat kit route, and i didnt want standardish, still wanted a show worthy car, and i'd never seen a euro corsa c in the uk before, still havent really, maybe its this reason that people think its odd.

To me it is euro, but the main problem is you see alot of euro corsas but they are all abroad. Its completely impractical to go for full on euro styling over here with the roads ETC.
