i picked up my sri for £800 and its on a L reg and only bit of rust is on the boot where the wiper is, its got all electrics and quick enough for me atm so get one bought

iv just bought a corsa 1.5 diesel for £500 has a few rust spots, key marks parking dints etc, think it needs a wheel bearing and the exhaust manifold looked at, but for £500 cant really moan it will tidy up nice, return 50mpg and hopefully just keep going.

its a work horse that is 10 years old and will cost fuck all to run you cant get a rolls royce for robin reliant money mate and i think it dont look to bad...

maybe cosmeticly but doubt you will find something as ecenomical reliable etc.....

I could have bought quite a few cars as i had £700 to spend to but this came up and i thought it was a steal just needs a little TLC.

in never drove a 1.2 8v but i dont think its that bad! Then im not affter any sort of performance at all just want econemy

my old man's 2.0 8v cav is an absolute superhero. Its done 240k miles and i sh!t you not there is not one thing that doesn't work on it.

He does 20k miles per year and it has NEVER let him down.....

lol im paying £390 with 0NCB as im using itall the aginst the 2.0 16v


oh and mine is not a TD but still produces more BHP and torque than the 1.2 8v
(not much though!!!!) lol
