Again, no one on here can say if it is written off or not. More than likely though with an old car like yours it will be written off because it will cost a lot to repair.

Car's worth as much as somone is willing to pay for it. You won't get a lot for it from the insurance company, also, why are you insured fully comp, surely that cost loads?

Thats written off, absolutely no doubt about it. That shell would need a few hours to straighten it before you've even bought the bolt-on stuff.

Insurance are never going to fix that, they will just say its a write off!

Time to look for a new car....

So how did it happen, my dad never instructed me to drive into a wall when learning

I see you follow in your fathers foot steps then..

Why would you pull the hand brake on a FWD car?

dont even bother claiming on the insurance, as your excess will be so high and it will increase your premium next year!

I doubt it's worth £1200 either!?

Well obviously not now, but yesterday before the accident it wasn't worth £1200.

looks like you could repair that car but wether its worth it is questionable.
If its going through ins they will write it off, and im guessing its probably fc on your dads insurance (how ironic if it was really his fault).

And value wise i'll be supised if you get 1k off ins for it!
