last time i was at elvington the layout was -

sorry, it really is like that!

I suggested elvington as i figured there would be quite a few people that have never done a trackday before and its ideal for begginers, you really need to be doing something stupid to find anything solid to hit. IMO its still quite technical and a lot of fun, 70-80mph out of the top corner (watch the lift off oversteer ) and 110-120 down the back straight.

I presume when you say less forgiving you mean tyre wear? I find unless you go out there and hammer it to death spinning or locking a wheel every lap i doubt you would notice tbh. Also as i said earlier, even tho it says sessions on the website its usually only the first hour and sighting laps, then it goes to open pit.

but thats only my opinion, nothings set, if everyone would rather meet somewhere else i'll be there as well

ahh right well i might be up for giving it ago then im aiming to try every track at least once before i go back to them again that way i can decide for myself which track i prefer. i may get a few mates to come with me aswell.

Yeh the thing is would people not rather pay there £99 or whateva knowing for definite that it will be open pitlane as i for one would be really annoyed if i were tog et there and it be sessioned!!

Yes i did mean tyre wear as last time i went to bruntinghthorpe last year my mate in his mr2 ended up with very interesting tyre wear but i thik this was to do with drifting alot, as mine wasnt awful.

open pit lane you can do as much track time as you like in the day, sessioned is when they put you into a group usually 3 and you get 20 mins of each hour on the track
