well being in charge of the corsasport stand at donny - was one of the worst experiences ever.
I have spoke to Ian and a few other members concerning this already, and explained the problems.
the location of the stand was not the best - and i would like to thank members for helping me out over the weekend and trying to get things sorted and also for making the best of what we had. Thanks to TNM for helping out - top man.
overall the main problems were
The location of the stand - was in a very poor location and was always going to be a problem with dust - the location we got first was actually on a hill next to the toilets which we did manage to get changed after a lot of arguments.
I know when Ian and Matt caught up with me at donny - we all have been thinking along the same lines and looking at new ideas for corsasport.
I will be at pvs and hope to see alot more members present - its a really big show and one where corsasport can make a big impression.

agree with this totally

i never went to the show but i think people shouldnt be put off by one show going abit pete tong,
I believe in previous years CS have had good shows, so why dosnt everyone just stick with CS and make a go of it for PVS, plenty of time to get things done and lets not leave it till the last minute chasing money up.

Donny has been going downhill ever since halfords tried to take over, last year at doncaster they actually banned any other ice dealers from selling at the show. As soon as they get rid of halfords/ripspeed and give the show back to the enthusiasts along with bringing it back to doncaster things might start looking up again.
I went to pvs for the first time last year and it was a wonderful event, better surroundings and atmosphere then any other show i've been to over the years.

I think that comment sum's up the whoe car sceane
they have destoryed the image of car's by letting young lads buy tacky wasteful crap, the do not have a clue how to style/mod anything they are just old men wanting the bling bling american thing and to be quite honest it doesn't work over here.

True i mean if your camping your loooking £45 ... PVS is like £15 and ten times better

I thought the show was good. There was some really nice cars there. The Orange 206 & 350Z Kitted 206 looked amazing!
On the saturday i had a look around for the CS stand and it did look a bit small and the location u were given wasnt very good.

I agree with ian's comments,but.....
After viewing various stands i thought CS was not as good as a club should be.Other clubs camped togeather in a group, had club calanders, t-shirts etc. This is what i would have expected but i only realy talked to a few CS members which were sound people but it just didnt seem like a club!
Hopefully this will be improved on, but i enjoyed the show which was the main thing i spose.
