cheers dude. im a bit worried i've fitted it to low down, i may have to trim the dash
tomorrows update will likely be the whole unit hopefully in the car. then all i need is a flocking kit, and then work out how to wire it up.
i bought a boxter workshop manual earlier on, which include all wiring diagrams, so that should help hopefully

if you've got the wiring diagrams, then it should be fairly simple
have you got the plugs and some wire on the back?
i think you'll have to do a bit of jigging with the sttering column surround

the bit i thought would look odd is the fact the dials ahve their own surround if you know what I mean
you get a delivery of porsche dials, I get a note saying my corsa dials aer awaiting collection

i dont have no plugs or wiring as yet, im hoping to find either a scrapyard with a boxter in i can raid, OR find that plugs from another car possibly VAG something will fit.
i am 100% certain i will have to get jiggy with the steering column shroud

how about chopping the warning lights off and using my amazing plan?

also there is a large gap above the dials, and below the top of the surround, it is like this in the porsche, and as i've cannibalised the old porsche surround that came with the dials to get it fitting neatly, i to have the gap at the top. doesnt look to bad though

Why do you even bother to reply to these posts. If you don't try stuff then you will never find out.

I know mine isn't as complicated as Robs but I think it will look quite cool
Got 2 sets of Audi TT dials, dismantled one & kept the other whole
Gonna use the needles with the cool chunky alloy centres on the existing clock set & get some white dials & chrome dial rings
Should look good when its done
