sam i think he fibreglasses it and whilst it is still setting he covers it in tape to get a rough shape to the glass.

Yeh Ultra Blue is a Mica colour, that looks class in the sun and quite dark in the crap light - almost like 2 different paints! - best pic of the colour (not the car!) atm, can get more when better light:



Please dont consider a pastel colour or anything - keep it subtle

the colour the car is already is the same as mine and looks

looks like you are coming along nicely, another car but still no updates on corsa brava

how come there is a clam for vx22o in the back of that pic, old one?

yea there are the old VX ones, damaged, looking to sell them soon!

yea u got it i found it a really good way to stop the fibreglass going all over the place and cuts down on the rubbing down that takes ages if it fibreglass!!!

MORE PROGRESS:-

all going pretty well:-

smoothed the rear ridge out of the bumper and just put little primer on it to c how its looking!





smoothed badge, wiper and doot lock off and roughly primed



roof rails smoothed, with wet primer on



front end, with ridge smoothed and bonnet badboyed and rougly primed to c how its looking!







BACK on hitmans car tomorrow!! also got set of wheels i need to refurb!!

i wanna do corsa brava also, took a look at it this afternoon and the filler/bodywork is really not that far off! dont need to much work!

yea just thinking of the normal tigra splitter, prob not smoothed in cos that wud prob crack straight away if cought on kerb or anything, then normal evo spoiler u c on tigras, not really sure wot do do wheels wise, its all being done on a budget so dont wanna go spending loads on money, but really need 16s on it! gonna be lowered 60ml!! may leave the splitter and spoiler till once its done cos them 2 bits are like £200

should be done EVERYTHING including respray in one off colour made for the car for under £1200, thats if all goes to plan!! prob wont, hehe

best things about touches like these are they dont cost much money just time!!!!

yeah its ford olympic blue mate, with 2 coats of clear on top, seen it with a purple/pink pearl before it looks sweet
