The shell was left over night and was fine. The workshop is heated and sealed up so it's not like it's a horrible damp shed...

Anyway, todays update. The body is in primer. Yey!
More pics are in my garage, but here are a few for all the lazy crew...
Yes, we opted for the option of using rattle cans to paint the car
Only joking That was just the etch primer

Steve, I slept for ages
Just been down to Thunder HQ, the car is looking great still, can't wait to get down on the doors tonight
As for the wheels, we are bar metaling them (d'oh) as the paint job on them was totally shite and painting them up...

It's a bit windy down there and it looks like it may rain. So I will take the car out the workshop at about 5 30-6 00 then get the bonnet and stuff all set out if I can find something to sit them on. It may have to be on wheels and tyres I'm afraid Tom is small though so he'll like it. It was quite cute seeing him reach up and pain the roof

the bare metal thing is a gd idea, done this a few times on older classics being restored, helps to ensure theres no rust hiding belw the surface of the paint. altho as said b4 it can be a nitemare when it comes to finding repairs u didnt know about lurking below the paint as u inevitably ruin them n need to redo them when u hit them with ur da. gd work lads. impressed for folks with no real experience ( not trying to be cheeky )
