You liked the pshop tho , you influenced this

no no, i do still love it, and i love what you have done by being different. it just doesnt look right just now as its shiney. but either shine up the rest of the black bits, or use that bumper finish stuff from halfords that was mentioned and dim it down a bit,

still a lovely car

I dont like it, i think to have a gsi front end it need to be body coloured, if your going for the standard look with the arches/bumpers being black then stick to standard bumpers

Looks ace mate. When i read the title i thought "he better have a black gsi front on it" Keep it!!!! Take off badge and get an fk grille i think? the one with horizontal slats, would tidy it up perfect in my opinion!

I think the car looks proper as it was mate; it was your car I was influenced by in fact for my own project.

The badge doesn't do it any favours either. YOU'll know it's a GSi conversion and that's all that counts. I think the fact (as already mentioned) that most GSi's have colourcoded arches, skirts and bumpers but yours won't is unique in itself.

My likely plan is red bodywork, all new bumpers/arches, black delocked door handles and possibly a black spoiler to break the back up a little (semi-smoothed hatch).

She looks nice mate, lovely car.

The GSi badge will definetly go , looks pretty scabby anyway.

Not sure on the grille tbh but I have never been a fan of the slatted ones.

Also I still have the front bumper , nowt stopping a change of mind
