unless he wants a mortgage for my other idea
i have genuanly thought about this, was talking to OJC about it on saturday
150bhp has been had from the 1.6 8v... before gas, and generally they're indestructable

depends want you want from it.
could spend alot making a really awesome LET corsa, very quick etc use it at tracks/shows alot, quite an enthusiast thing to do.
but for how long will it be still be cool and what you want? end of the day its a corsa. just depends at what point you think about what other cars you might wanna own etc
i'd keep the 1.6 + TBS, make it a track weapon, fun to drive, not too lethal

then i'd keep it as a lightweight car/small engined car, that really handles well, makes sense
its not all about the power

its a shame you wont hack the shell up
a 3.2 litre, 8 cylinder 32V corsa on TBs would be ace

1/4 mile racing is gay unless you do it properly, enter in classes, run in competitions/leagues etc
